We encourage community farming on our properties
VAV supports the resident activities of the properties with an annual allocation, the use of which is decided by the building's resident committee. Traditionally, the money has been used for spring or autumn tillage, but in the future, community farming is also a viable option, which activates the residents throughout the growing season - planning is done in the spring, maintenance is done in the summer, and the harvest is harvested in the fall.
At its best, urban farming increases living comfort, community and landscape values. The property can stand out as a trendsetter in environmental issues.
Farming together is much more fun
Together with VAV, we have created community farming units suitable for residents' use with our new dome boxes for the summer season of 2024. The residents' committee can decide on the order within the framework of the annual allocation.
The package includes the help and guidance of a gardener. The start of the season takes place together with the gardener and he is available throughout the season through our app. In the planting session, we choose together the seedlings that suit you, put them in the multi, and agree on summer practices such as watering shifts and communication.
Co-cultivation boxes act as the heart of your cultivation, around which each participant can also bring their own plants in pots and boxes. When the responsibility for watering is taken care of jointly, cultivation is easy. In the fall, it's nice to collect the harvest together and celebrate the end of the season with a joint dinner.

The cultivation package includes cultivation boxes, seedlings, tools, soils and fertilizers and a planting session with the gardener. The whole will be delivered in the spring and picked up in October for winter maintenance and storage.
The cultivation box is 60 x 80 cm in size and has high legs, making it easy to care for. Large vegetables also thrive in the large mulch space, and the dome protects sensitive seedlings from the cold, so cultivation can start as early as May.
The order is made using the house committee's information and the invoicing takes place directly with VAV from the house committee's funds. The order can be made by the chairman of the residents' committee or a trustee, but any active and willing resident can act as a contact person.
Order a community farm
We recommend 3-5 boxes for the size of the community garden, in which case an assortment of giant pots for large vegetables, potato trays and salad boxes will also be included. For the residents' own orders, a house-specific discount code is created in the Blokgarden online store and these are delivered together with the whole.
In connection with the delivery, we organize a joint planting session with the gardener. This takes approx. 2 hours and you can book this directly from our calendar. SEE FREE TIMES
ORGANIC SEEDLINGS INCLUDED: We bring all the necessary seedlings to the planting session, and you can use your own. Our selection includes a wide variety of tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and pumpkins, herbs and salads. Together with the gardener, you can plan a seedling set that suits you.

Urban farming since 2020
Blokgarden is a 100% domestic company and our goal is to increase sustainable urban farming. We keep the cultivation boxes and soil in our own closed circuit and only use organic fertilizers and seedlings.
Together with VAV, we have created community farming units for the summer season of 2024 suitable for residents.
Our gardener guides you through the beginning of cultivation and is reachable throughout the season through our app. The app also gives you weekly tasks and tips for your plants.
